Activities in Detail

Training and internships

It is possible to attend training and specialization programs in the form of internships or traineeships at the Brunella laboratory. The University of Siena, by virtue of an agreement stipulated with the Superintendence of Archeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the provinces of Siena, Grosseto and Arezzo, can officially grant credits to students of degree courses related to paleobiological restoration, anatomical and phylogenetic studies, management of tourist flows and naturalistic museology. Two-week internships (over a total of 80 hours) are available, subject to prior agreements, aimed at consolidating paleobiological restoration techniques and other activities that are carried out in the laboratory (preparation and analysis of samples for the microscope, taphonomic studies, etc.).

To attend an internship or traineeship, candidates are kindly asked to send their résumé to allow the assessment of the qualifications required for the execution of the activities. The application can be sent by email to info@fondazionebanfi.it specifying the requested activities, enclosing the candidate’s résumé. Applications will be evaluated timely and answered by email.
