In cooperation with two of the most prestigious enology schools of Italy, Fondazione Banfi has established the Graduation Awards “Rudy Buratti” and “Alberto Lazzarino” to reaffirm and diversify its support of the promotion of culture in the wine world.
The two awards aim also at keeping the memory alive of our esteemed winemaker colleagues, Rudy Buratti and Alberto Lazzarino, who from the beginning were committed supporters of the strong involvement of the new generations in enological research and experimentation.
Annually, the dedicated Committees, which include representatives of Fondazione Banfi, the University of Trento (for the Rudy Buratti Award) and the University of Turin and Assolenologi Piedmont (for the Alberto Lazzarino Award), meet to carefully examine the most brilliant theses in viticulture and enology produced during the year, awarding the two most worthy and innovative.
A tangible sign to renew and keep alive the work of our two colleagues and their constant attention to research, innovation and vitivinicultural culture.
