"Sanguis Jovis - I Quaderni I Volume journalizes the contents of the first Winter School Sanguis Jovis, with the title “Storytelling of Sangiovese in the digital era”, which was held in Montalcino in the winter of 2018. The School saw a heterogenous group of lecturers, among academics and communication professionals, all with their unique and original vision of storytelling, taking turns in the classroom. Their story, for three days, was compounded in the minds of the students with different colors and tones and a shared feature: the discussion of wine.

The volume is substantially articulated in three parts:

• The first part, more educational, explains what storytelling is, how it must be intended and constructed, and which are its fundamental technical moments.
• The second part, then, gathers the contributions of the lecturers, their visions and narrations on what narrating a wine means.
• The third part is dedicated to the lectio magistralis with which the President of Sanguis Jovis, Professor Attilio Scienza, closed the sessions of the School.
