“Rudy Buratti” Graduation Award in viticulture and enology

Rudy Buratti, chief enologist at Castello Banfi, graduated from the Scuola Enologica di San Michele all’Adige in 1981.

Protagonist of Banfi’s extraordinary entrepreneurial history, he died prematurely in January 2018. Fondazione Banfi and Centro Agricoltura Alimenti Ambiente of San Michele all’Adige seek to remember his human and professional figure, setting him as an example for young people in the industry.

The award will be assigned to an experimental thesis in Viticulture and Enology, discussing viticulture and enology topics.

The winner will receive a cash prize in the amount of 1,500 (one thousand five hundred) Euro.
Furthermore, the winner will be invited to attend the 2019 Sanguis Jovis Summer School, free of charge, from July 15 to 19 in Montalcino.
